How to extract emails from Google Maps leads

Run any Google Maps scraper, then give that run's dataset ID to the Website Email Extractor on Apify: it reads each place's own website and adds the best email, all emails, phone numbers and social profiles to every place, for $2 per 1,000 websites; places with nothing found are free.

How to do it in 4 steps

  1. Run any Google Maps scraper (for example compass/crawler-google-places) for your search.
  2. Put that run's dataset ID in Dataset ID (Apify Console: the run's Storage tab, or defaultDatasetId in the API).
  3. Click Start. Each place gets one row with bestEmail, all emails (with an MX check), phones and socials; the Maps placeId is kept so the rows merge back.
  4. Export as CSV, Excel or JSON. 1,000 places cost at most $2.

FAQ

Does it scrape Google Maps itself?

No. Run any Google Maps scraper first, then point this Actor at that run's dataset. It reads the website listed for each place: the home page plus contact, imprint and about pages.

Are the emails verified?

Each email gets free syntax and MX checks, role or personal and free-mail flags. No mail server is contacted (no SMTP check), so a mailbox can still bounce.

Can I pay only for places where an email was found?

Yes. Set requiredContact to email: only websites where at least one email was found are charged.

Is it legal to extract emails from websites?

The Actor reads only public pages a company publishes on its own website and respects robots.txt. Whether you may contact the people you find depends on the laws that apply to you (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL). This is not legal advice.
