How to validate an email list in bulk with an API

How to do it in 3 steps

  1. Paste the addresses into E-mail addresses, upload a CSV file, or give the dataset of another run.
  2. Click Start, or call the Actor from the API with {"emails": [...]}.

FAQ

Does it check whether the mailbox really exists?

No. It checks everything that can be known without talking to the mail server: syntax, domain, MX, disposable, role and typos. Use the verdict to remove what is certainly bad and review what is risky.

Why no SMTP check?

Most large providers block SMTP probing or answer "accept all", and probing can get the checking IP blacklisted. Because no mail server is contacted, your IP is never at risk and recipients are never touched.

Am I charged for bad lines in my CSV?

No. Empty cells, headers and text without an @ get a free row, and syntax errors are free too. Every row says whether it was charged.
